Rosé from BLACKPINK made her stunning debut at the 2021 Met Gala, captivating everyone in her elegant black-and-white ensemble by Saint Laurent. However, what she didn't anticipate was that the highlight of the evening would be an extraordinary encounter with none other than Rihanna.

As BLACKPINK's Rosé prepared to film some quick content and capture her glamorous shots, the staff politely requested that she hold on for a few minutes. The reason? Rihanna and A$AP Rocky were about to arrive.

Rosé was completely understanding. “I was like, ‘Of course, take all the time you need,’” she recounted. Moments later, Rihanna made her entrance in a striking, oversized black robe, with A$AP Rocky following closely behind, leaving Rosé in awe (as anyone would be). "And then, in an instant, Rihanna walks in wearing this huge black robe. A$AP Rocky follows, and I'm just sitting behind the camera, witnessing it all," Rosé shared.

At that moment, Rihanna approached her directly, and a crew member asked, 'Do you know BLACKPINK’s Rosé?'

Out of the blue, Rihanna recognized Rosé and started to walk towards her. A member of the crew highlighted BLACKPINK's Rosé, and in a moment of genuine grace, Rihanna turned, grasped Rosé's hands, and said, “I know you. You’re doing an amazing job—keep it up.” They then shared a warm embrace. “She actually turned around and held both my hands,” Rosé recalled. “And she said, ‘I know you. You all are doing so well. Keep up the great work.’ Then she gave me the biggest hug,” Rosé expressed.

Rosé admitted, "I found myself speechless. I recall feeling somewhat disheartened as I washed my hands afterward."
